Make sure your clothes fit properly, get thee to a better mens-wear shop, and get measured. I can't stress this point enough. Suit jackets that hang in the shoulders, sleeve lengths, inseams on pants, if it bags, bunches or isn't the right fit, will make you look awful. Often, these services are performed free or at a minimal cost. Honestly, if you can afford made to measure, go for it.
Pants should be hemmed properly, don't let them drag. No "drop-crotch" or baggy pants.
