What is the difference between seamless stockings & normal stockings?

A fair question I might add. Now you asked what is the difference between seamless stockings and normal stockings! I shall try to give you a simple explanation of the various types of stockings available in shopping malls today and indeed online should you so prefer. Now, there are many different types of stockings but I shall proceed with the ones of the nylon variety as they are most fashionable these days. Everyday stockings generally come in on size and fit most of the general population and are stretchable nylon , most with a reinforced toe although sheer toe types of hosiery have become rather assignable of late ( my personal choice is yet to come lol)
There are many differing thicknessses of nylon stockings and 5his is judged by a term known as ‘denier’ the lower the denier the thinner more see-thru the stocking and the thicker the most dense they become till late they're opaque or in fact woollen. In the 40s/50s stockings were made of nylon and produced carefully on special machines. Fully fashioned stockings (and I'm guessing by your question that's what you meant when differentiating between ‘normal and seamless’ are stockings with a seam down the back and a reinforced foot and toe (my item to buy!) Then there are the RHT ‘re-inforcerced heel and toe variety which do not havea seam up the back and the heel and toe parts are denser, stronger and darker than the the rest of the stockings as the toe and heel area often need to be more sturdy. However with today's abundance of material lycra has become very popular on the hosiery marketing front giving extra stretch, strength and durability and therefore is widely used in manufacturing of nylon stockings and pantyhose/tights . Therefore the simplistic way I can answer your question is to say if you mean seamless stockings, by and large the most popular stockings/pantyhose/tights worn by today's women (and men!) are different from the more nostalgic seamed stockings generally known as Fully fashioned stockings although I must also say in today's fast and trendy markets you will find many stockings/pantyhose/tights with a ‘mock’ seam in them purely for fashion as well as stockings (thighhighs’ ) which are held up by a silicone band or rubber band at the top where the traditional garter belt/suspender belt would be in place. I must admit I'm a sucker for the authentic fully fashioned nylon stockings held up by a garter belt much more fun in my experience but that's not the question here !!!!!

One more thing to note, stockings come in various scales of price and depending what your looking for prices will vary from £1.00 to £50.00 or more even depending again on what your looking for. Best to search the internet to get a good variation of price indexing. The general concensus is “you get what you pay for” so to speak, happy shopping!!!!
